[PCA 3.0.x] Manual Backup Stuck in "Unknown" Status (Doc ID 3000618.1)

The upgrade instructions advice to take a backup of individual components but the backup job stays in 'unknown' status for more than 1 hour.

In the NFS share, the backup directory is empty.
