Goal
A Solaris 10 or 11 instance will not boot when the repository .db is corrupt. Without rebooting this condition can go unnoticed for quite some time and might only be discovered during an upgrade when a reboot is necessary. Seeing the error: Assertion failed: 0, file rc_node.c, line 2299, function rc_node_link_child is a clear indication that the there is corruption in the repository.db and it's possible this may impact multiple BEs (Boot Environments )
