Goal
This document will outline how you can check or verify that an Application Core file is valid.
It will also outline how you can check for the expected size of a core file to determine if it was truncated.
It will also outline when a Core file might not be usable, even if it may be the correct size
It will also outline why a default core file named 'core' may not be the core file you want.
