Certain models of 7.68TB disks in ODA (Oracle Database Appliance) X8-2 HA can experience problems due to a disk firmware issue (Doc ID 3037835.1)

Symptoms

     Various hard disk drive critical errors and/or warnings, such as:

     In some cases, prior to critical errors and/or warnings, the OS /var/log/messages logs indicate a wide variety of errors, but none severe enough for the drive to have fault status or drive offline. After the firmware bug causes the disks to reset every 30min, using "odaadmcli stordiag e0_pd_(xx)" can indicate partitions are faulty.
