ACSLS server cannot communicate with SL4000s after upgrade to 8.5.2

User upgraded ACSLS to 8.5.2 and then discovered that ACSLS could not longer communicate with the SL4000 libraries.
The user then attemtped to re-configure the SL4000 libraries with acsss_config. but that also failed.
Symptoms
acsss_config could apparently communicate with the SL4000 libraries, but then the configuration failed.

This step builds a database image of your complete library hardware
configuration. Before proceeding, make sure that your library
is completely configured, that all subsystems are functional and
