Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

I tried to apply the APPENDIX W : Change SOAM VM Profile for Increased MP Capacity on a VMware system described on DSR Cloud Software Upgrade Guide to set the parameter "measurementMaxQueues" = 2 but it is not working.

The parameter is changing when the SOAM is OOS but when going back in service anc Role becomes standy, the parameter changes to 1 again.

The cloud document said to put the server in OOS state but as described in original description of the problem, when the server was placed back to an standby state the value would be overwritten.

It was suggested that we run the procedure without taking the server OOS.
But the command is not working when the server is in standby role.

The customer in this example did run the command without using sudo. But even when I run the command in our lab with the sudo I get the same output.
