E-SBC: Sysmand crash followed by drop to shell prompt (Doc ID 3066861.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 14, 2025

Applies to:

Acme Packet 3900 - Version S-Cz9.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A Sysmand process crash is observed when any widget was added with default ‘Auto Refresh Interval’ of 30 seconds in the GUI for E-SBC. This is seen to be affecting 920p7 and above versions.

If there was a reboot, either due to manual intervention or auto-reboots, this will be followed by bootup process for SBC recovery. At this stage, instead of leading to the user prompt, the SBC would crash and get into the shell mode.
