Purpose

Configuration of a Native Disaster Recovery (Native-DR) between two Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) X9-2 racks or two PCA X10 racks allows for the protection of instances in the case of a problem at a site.  If a primary site experiences as prolonged outage, the operations can be moved to a secondary site by leveraging the Native-DR feature of the PCA software.  Initial configuration of this feature can be a complex operation.  This document will give a reference configuration as an example that can be modified to meet the exact needs of each installation.  This feature was introduced in software release 3.0.2M3.10.  Systems produced before this release can be re-cabled to match systems created after the release of software 3.0.2M3.10.
