The Oracle Configuration Manager(OCM) collector is becoming an integrated part to many product stacks across Oracle's enterprise. The Support Workbench feature now found in the DBControl for 11g databases, as well as for the 11g Databases in Enterprise Manager Grid Control version 10.2.0.5.0 and the 11g Databases , Fusion Middleware in Enterprise Manager Grid Control version 18.104.22.168.0.
This note is to assist customers understand why, and from an OCM perspective, the OCM Collector is required as prerequisite in order for the Support Workbench feature to operate properly.
Customers who use OCM for collection gathering.
Customers who utilize the Support Workbench feature in a DBControl or, the Enterprise Manager GridControl environment.
