OCM Not Collecting All Databases the From Same Oracle_Home (Doc ID 1314575.1)

11.2.0.X Database

Symptoms

The ORACLE_HOME contains 1 or more Database. Follow the OCM installation process as described in the OCM documentation. Instrumented all the Databases in the ORACLE_HOME.

$ORACLE_HOME/ccr/admin/scripts/installCCRSQL.sh collectconfig -s <SID> -r <SYSDBA-USER>

The command did not gave any error and completed fine. But OCM does not report any databases in My Oracle Support portal.  The disable_target does not list any database instances.

$ORACLE_HOME/ccr/bin/emCCR disable_target

2 Oracle Configuration Manager Oracle Configuration Manager
Control C and exited.


Changes

Run this sql statement :

select count(*) from dba_registry where COMP_NAME = 'Oracle XML Database' and STATUS = 'VALID';

If the output is:

COUNT(*)
----------
0

If the output is:

COUNT(*)
----------
1
