Applies to:
Oracle Platinum Services - Version N/A to N/AInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
At several points during Platinum Service delivery, the passwords need to be shared from Customer to Oracle.
With Oracle Advanced Support Gateway (OASG) version 4.0, the official process of sharing the passwords is through the Gateway portal running on the OASG server.
This article provides details on how customers can use the "MANAGE PASSWORD" page on the OASG portal.
Scope
Applicable for gateway release 4.x to 8.x. Note that from Gateway release 9.x the user interface has changed and you should refer to :- Credential Management in gateway release 9.x (Doc ID 2285834.1) instead of this article.
Note that currently the OASG portal can only be used for securely sharing passwords for Engineered Systems already configured for Platinum Services (During platinum Delivery phase).
For such cases, please reach your Platinum Driver or communicate with Platinum Implementation engineer working on your case via Platinum implementation Service Request (PISR) for guidance.
