Data Correction- Serial Number Reflects Incorrect Product in My Oracle Support (MOS)

On : My Oracle Support

When creating a Technical Service Request for specific Serial Number, the reflected Hardware product populates incorrectly.

1. Log in to MOS (
2. Select the 'Service Requests' tab
3. Select 'Create SR'
4. Enter Serial Number in Hardware Serial Number field, and validate

The issue has the following business impact:
User not able to create technical Service Request for specific product. This might cause delays in support and affect business.
