Opatch/OUI Warnings about Oracle Configuration Manager and/or Unknown New Cron Entries

Getting some warnings at the end of installation:

Oracle Configuration Manager is installed but not configured.
OPatch failed to configure Oracle Configuration Manager in the Oracle Home.


During upgrade, runInstaller announced that Configuration Assistant for Oracle Configuration Manager has failed. Continuing, the remaining steps are successful. In $ORACLE_HOME/cfgtoollogs, configToolFailedCommands contains the following message:



Without being aware of any other changes, after successfully applying a patch, observed some new cron entries and emCCR binaries which matches the same day as the patch applied date:

0,15,30,45 * * * * JAVA_HOME=/crshome/10.2/jdk /crshome/10.2/ccr/bin/emCCR -cron -silent start
0,15,30,45 * * * * JAVA_HOME=/orahome/10.2/ASM/jdk /orahome/10.2/ASM/ccr/bin/emCCR -cron -silent start
0,15,30,45 * * * * JAVA_HOME=/orahome/10.2/DB/jdk /orahome/10.2/DB/ccr/bin/emCCR -cron -silent start
