PeopleSoft version 8.9 or higher, Absence & Payroll Processing GPPDPRUN
Process is not completing even after running for longer hours of more than 3 to 4 hours after upgrade of database from MS SQL Server 2005 to 2008 version.
Process used to normally finish in 40 minutes of average time.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Go to Global Payroll Absence and Payroll processing
- Open the calculate Absence & Payroll Processing page
- Give the appropriate Calendar group, choose Identify and Calculate now
- Run the process.
