Information in this document applies to any platform.

Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) provides several Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) extensions to support AIA XPath functions and other applications such as AIAHomeApp.  As per the SOA guidelines, these extensions are placed in the Middleware_Home/soa/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/classes folder and are made available to all applications as a class path.

AIAHomeApp and the AIA XPath functions work as expected with releases up to release of Fusion MiddleWare (FMW) SOA. Because of an issue with SOA (unpublished bug id 30499299), this functionality does not work as expected with FMW SOA release Although AIA 12.2.1 is certified with Oracle FMW SOA, because of the issue with SOA, applications show up as Failed in the WebLogic Server console. This document provides a workaround for the issue.

This applies to all new installations of AIA 12.2.1 on FMW and SOA This is a one-time activity for all new installations of AIA 12.2.1 on FMW and SOA
