Enterprise Manager FMW 11g Shows Previous Version For WLS Components Like WLS_FORMS, WLS_REPORTS or WLS_DISCO After Applying a Patch Set (Doc ID 1155307.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) Classic installation created in 11.1.1.2.0 and then upgraded to 11.1.1.3 or later patchset.

After the upgrade to a later FMW patchset taking as example 11.1.1.3, Enterprise Manager (EM) Fusion Middleware Control reports some WLS components like AdminServer, WLS_FORMS, WLS_REPORTS, WLS_DISCO as version 10.3.2 instead of 10.3.3.

It can be checked in the EM console under  Component Menu --> 'General Information'.

The same issue is extended to the FMW Components (Discoverer, Forms, Reports) Versions that will report the FMW version in which one where configured, for example if they were configured in 11.1.1.2 and patched to 11.1.1.3 the version showed in EM --> Farm_domain will be 11.1.1.2.

Changes

• Fusion Middleware Installation 11.1.1.2 upgraded to 11.1.1.3 or later and Weblogic Server has been also upgraded from 10.3.2 to 10.3.3 or a later version.

• Post-patching steps applied following: 'Oracle Fusion Middleware Patching Guide' section '4.6 Post-Patching Tasks' and components like OHS and Webcache show the right version 11.1.1.3.
