Purpose

Enterprise Manager (EM) 12.1.0.1 Cloud Control was released in October 2011.  Since that time, several additional versions of EM 12c have been released.

Oracle suggests that, for new installations, users should install the latest available version.

For any EM 12c installation, the user should be thoroughly familiar with the documentation accessible through the above link for the appropriate version.

This note does not replace the more extensive and comprehensive documentation available from that web site, which should be considered the final authority.

 

This document describes in detail the steps for installing Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.1 Cloud Control in graphical mode, as an example.

 

 

Scope

This document describes a detailed example of Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.1 Cloud Control system installation in graphical mode on Linux.

This document does not cover the procedure for Upgrading your existing Enterprise Manager system. To upgrade your system to Enterprise Manager 12c, refer to the following EM 12c Upgrade My Oracle Support notes and OTN documentation:
