Symptoms
In Enterprise Manager Grid Control, the following targets have "Unknown Availability" status with the message "Target has encountered metric evaluation errors":
/secFarm_GCDomain/GCDomain/EMGC_OMS1
/secFarm_GCDomain/GCDomain/EMGC_OMS1/OCMRepeater
/secFarm_GCDomain/GCDomain/EMGC_OMS1/emgc
For each of the targets, the emagent.trc shows many errors like:

Problem may become visible after restarting OMS/central agent.
