12c : Steps for Modifying the OMS HTTP and HTTPS Ports for Upload & Console UI URL's After Installation (Doc ID 1381030.1)

Last updated on MAY 27, 2021

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 12.1.0.1.0 to 12.1.0.5.0 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In 12.1.0.x Cloud Control, following ports are picked up at the time of OMS installation by default:

Reference: Oracle® Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Advanced Installation and Configuration Guide 12c Release 4 (12.1.0.4), Chapter 2 - Understanding the Basics, Topic - What Ports Are Used for Installation?

This document explains how the above port numbers can be modified post-installation, if necessary.

IMPORTANT: As listed in the above documentation, use port numbers that are greater than 1024 and less than 65536. Using port number below 1024 will cause the upgrade from 12.1.0.1 to 12.1.0.2 to fail at OMS configuration with the following error in the <OMS_HOME>/cfgtoollogs/omsca/omsca<n>.log:
