Enterprise Manager OMS Start Failure Known Issues And Troubleshooting Guide (Doc ID 1448042.1)

Purpose

This document contains a list of all known issues related to Enterprise Manager (EM) OMS start up failure and explains how to troubleshoot OMS process control.
Below there is a list of currently known issues and the respective errors, while the Troubleshooting Steps section shows what data to collect and examine is your start failure is not described in the list.

Known Issues

Prerequisite

In order to find the error which is causing the startup failure, locate first the log which will have the failure information. Details on the exact location of the logs will be found in this document:

OMS Start Failures (look in OMS and Managed server logs)

Error: Oracle Management Server Could Not Be Started
