Purpose

This article recognizes a condition in which the Oracle Enterprise Manager Management Agent (OMA) or Oracle Management Service (OMS) may consume excessive CPU on or around leap second corrections to system time, typically at the end of June or December.

Scope

 The leap second issue may affect Enterprise Manager components on all supported distributions of Linux.
