Purpose

Exadata discoveries in Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c often run into issues due to various configuration mismatches in software setup.

The attached script is developed with the purpose to capture the most common configuration problems our customers have encountered so far.

Scope

 The script should be executed before all database machine discovery and the output thoroughly examined before proceeding with the guided discovery wizard in Enterprise Manager 12c.
