Discovering OBIEE11g Fusion Middleware targets in Enterprise Manager (EM) 12c Cloud Control includes the following consideration:

Note 1: There is currently no support for monitoring of BI DAC Server 11g targets.  This may be considered for a future release.

Note 2: The EM/OBIEE link (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/install.121/e24215/bi_plugin.htm) refers to the standard OBIEE Essbase and not to the EPM/Hyperion version.  Customers wishing to monitor EPM Essbase are encouraged to create an EM 12c Metric Extension, and create a shell script that checks for Essbase server port 1423 and alert if it is down (not listening).
