Note: this document is related to the Enterprise Manager (EM) Grid Control, Database Control or Cloud Control web site access. It is not related to the WebLogic Server Admin console.

Internet Explorer Release 9 and 10

Logging in to the Enterprise Manager web site in Internet Explorer 9 results in this Certificate warning:

Select the option "Continue" and nothing happens, preventing access to Grid Control or Database Control. No error is generated.

Internet Explorer Release 7 or 8

Logging in to the Enterprise Manager web site in Internet Explorer 7 or 8 results in this page, preventing access to Grid Control or Database Control:

The server certificate included a public key that was too weak. (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_cert_key).
