Symptoms

The installation of the Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Agent fails with the following error:

INFO: Is the ownership of the agent base directory valid?
INFO: perl: ldap-nss.c:1347: do_init: Assertion
`cfg->ldc_uris[__session.ls_current_uri] != ((void *)0)' failed.
INFO: Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Failed <<<<

INFO: Problem: The ownership check for the agent base directory has failed.
      Reason for failure of this prereq could be one of the following:
INFO: 1. Agent Base Directory is not owned by install user.
INFO: 2. All or one of the parent directories of agent base directory is not
         owned by install user or root user.
INFO: 3. The root directory (that is '/') is not owned by root user.
INFO: Recommendation: Make sure the ownership of the agent base directory
      and all the parent directories are set properly and then retry the prereq
      for a successful execution.
