Symptoms
Registering OVM 3.1 with Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.2 Cloud Control (12.1.0.4 VT Plugin) fails with the following error:
Invalid credential type. target type=oracle_vm_manager, credential type=OVMCreds
The OVM is not registered in Cloud Control.
The 12.1.0.3.0 VT plugin was installed with the 12.1.0.2 EM system, but was subsequently updated to 12.1.0.4.
The OVM was not registered prior with 12.1.0.3
The virtualization patch set has been applied according to:
12c Virtualization Plugin for Cloud Control [ID 1371536.1]
Patch 16235354: MERGE REQUEST ON TOP OF 12.1.0.4.0 FOR BUGS 13242649 16165130 (OMS) installed
