Symptoms

Enterprise Manager (EM) 12c Cloud Control Agent resync operation fails with following exception error message

resyncState: IN executeCommand
resyncState: validated parameters
Starting resync RESYNC_20121128141200 for agent agent.domain.com:387
Getting list of all the Targets to remove from the the agent -agent.domain.com:387
Error deleting old targets from agent - unable to connect to the agent at https://agent.domain.com:3872/emd/main/ [No route to host]
Exception in resync: unable to connect to the agent at https://agent.domain.com:3872/emd/main/ [No route to host]
resyncState: resync of agent failed.
