The purpose of this document is to troubleshoot problems with Big Data Discovery.

Verify Prerequisites |
Verify that Exadata Plug-in is in a good deployed state |
Verify that the Big Data Appliance Plug-in is in a good deployed state |
Verify that Hardware and Software Targets got Discovered |
Verify Exadata Plug-in on BDA Management Agents |
Verify that the Exadata and Oracle Big Data Appliance Plug-ins are deployed |
Verify that the Exadata Plug-in is correctly patched on the OMS Host |
Verify that the Exadata Plug-in is correctly patched on the BDA |
Collect the following on each of the three InfiniBand switches as with username/password of nm2user/changeme |
Run bdacheckhw and ifconfig on each BDA server |
Collect the Log files below to upload to Oracle Support via an SR |
Verify that the information in the files below on Node1 of the BDA is correct: |
