Goal

Enterprise Manager 13c and 12c are configured to authenticate with External Authentication Providers.
Login to OEM with external users will be possible by the name in the same format as displayed in Weblogic Console->Security Realms->myrealms->Users and Groups->Users list.

After authenticating EM with external providers, the cn value of the external users are listed in Weblogic Console users list and need to be used to login to OEM by default.
In some environments, cn will be of the form 'FIRST NAME LAST NAME' but the sAMAccountName or uid will be preferred to login to OEM.

The document assists you in updating the Provider configurations to allow Enterprise Manager logins with different forms of External User names.
