EM 12c: Some changes in metric thresholds for Service targets not being recognized in Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control (Doc ID 1645526.1)

Symptoms

The following changes have been made:

Targets > All Targets > EM Console Service > Metric and collection settings

Performance
   Perceived Time per Page (ms)   18,000 (warning), 36,000 (Critical)

However alerts based on the original values are still being raised.  An extract from the incident:

Severity: Critical
Message:  Em Console Service Test from EM Beacon violated the threshold average response time.  Collected value 15590.  Threshold value 12000
Metric:  avg response time

The original value was 12,000, which suggests the alert is still using the old values.
