EM 12c: Uploading Patch of size greater than 450 M shows errors in Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.4 Cloud Control

Symptoms
From 12.1.0.4 Cloud Control navigate to Enterprise > Provisioning and Patching > Saved Patches.
Now trying to upload Patch of size greater than 450 M, say Patch 18706488 for Linux x86_64 which is of 578 M, gives following message in console:
'The file could not be uploaded because it is too large..' is shown for 'Patch Zip File' and 'Patch Metadata' as shown above
No error messages seen in OMS logs indicating an upload issue for patch.
