Goal
Under certain circumstances, within a BTM monitor group, you may want to replace an existing BTM monitor with a brand new one. You might do this for one of the following reasons:
- The BTM monitor's "btmstorage" directory experienced a disk problem and you need to re-initialize it.
- Oracle Technical Support recommends this in order to workaround a problem with the BTM monitor.
