EM 12c, 13c: 'Test Email Servers' in the Notification Methods Page Succeeds but no Email is Received by the Configured Email Address (Doc ID 1936534.1)

Symptoms

In Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control, clicking on 'Test Email Servers' button in the Setup -> Notifications -> Notification Methods page succeeds with the following message:


However, no such email is received by the Email ID configured for the "Sender's Email Address" field.

This could also occur when sending a test email to the email address added to a particular Administrator in the Setup -> <> menu -> Enterprise Manager Password & Email page.
