Purpose

In the vast majority of cases, an upgrade of the Oracle database will perform well 'out of the box' with little user intervention. In the unlikely event of problems, this document provides information on how to troubleshoot issues relating to application performance after an upgrade has occurred.

Pro-Active Problem Avoidance and Diagnostic Collection

Although some problems may be unforeseen, in many cases problems may be avoidable if signs are detected early enough.
