Symptoms

Database Host Credentials can not be set from EM 12.1.0.4 on Linux 7

Environment Information:
========================
EM Version: 12.1.0.4 OMS and Agent
Target DB Version: Any version
Target Host OS Version: Oracle Linux 7.1

 

The following error is registered in <Agent Base>/agent_inst/sysman/log/gcagent.log:

2015-09-03 14:52:28,172 [34:4DB76D0E] WARN - Could not extract PID from NMO

 



Steps to Reproduce:
=====================
Setup -> Security -> Name Credentials -> edit

Authenticating Target Type -> Host
Credential type -> Host
Scope -> target
Target type -> database instance
target name -> <DB_NAME>

username ->

Test Results

Test Failed.

Error

Example:
