What is being deprecated:


The Business Transaction Monitoring (BTM) feature of Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c is being deprecated. This feature allowed you to monitor an entire Web application along with the performance of specific pages or features of that application.

How the features is used currently:


Using Business Transaction Management (BTM), administrators are able to track transaction status and health, report business metrics embedded in transaction content and manage transaction errors by providing transaction visibility, business KPI monitoring and proactive exception management.

Impact:

The feature is being deprecated with no replacement or workaround.

What will be the replacement or workaround:

If Business Transaction Monitoring (BTM) is being used in your environment, there will be no alternative solution or workaround available from future Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control releases beginning with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Release 13.1.
