1. Create a hierarchy of groups under Administration Group from the 12c / 13c EM Console >> Setup >> Add Target >> Administration Groups
All Administration Groups(Root) Production(Lifecycle Status) Finance(Line of Business) Sales(Line of Business)
Test(Lifecycle Status) Finance(Line of Business) Sales(Line of Business)
2. Assign / modify the properties of a particular target. Navigate to the target homepage and select target's option menu >> Target Setup >> Properties.
On the Target Properties page, click Edit to change the property values.
For example, set
Lifecycle Status = 'Production' and Line of Business = 'FINANCE'
Once you have set the target property, click OK.
3. Once the target properties are set, Enterprise Manager automatically adds the target to the appropriate administration group.
In this case, the target should be part of [Production - Finance] but the target is not listed in this Admin group.
