EM 13c: Creating Gold Agent Image in Enterprise Manager 13.1.0.0.0 Cloud Control Fails with Error: Unable to create gold agent image due to inadequate space in the working directory (Doc ID 2162170.1)

Symptoms

The Gold Agent Image creation process in Enterprise Manager 13.1.0.0.0 Cloud Control stops after checking for free disk space, even though sufficient disk space is available.

The following error stack is from the .../gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1/sysman/goldagentimage/logs/GoldAgentImageLogger<timestamp>.log.0 log file:

The .../agent_inst/sysman/log/gcagent.log of the EM 13c Agent that is used as the Gold Image source contains the following error:

Unable to create gold agent image due to inadequate space in the working directory at <WORK_DIRECTORY>. Ensure that the working directory has at least 750 MB of free disk space.
