Information in this document applies to any platform.
Enterprise Manager (EM) 184.108.40.206 Cloud Control monitoring (among others) a Solaris 10 (SPARC) host running five non-RAC 11.2 databases
(from the same Oracle Home, and using ASM). These were all upgraded (one manually and the other four using DBCA) from 220.127.116.11.0 to 18.104.22.168.0.
However, every time the database server is rebooted, the oratab entry for only the manually upgraded database is changed back to the original
22.214.171.124 home, causing autostart of the database to fail. A comment in the oratab file suggests it is the EM 12c Agent that has altered the registered value.
The oratab must be manually edited to reset it back to the 126.96.36.199 Oracle Home in order for the database to start.
Manual DB upgrade/migration from 188.8.131.52 OH to 184.108.40.206 OH.
