Symptoms

Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.1.0.0.0 Cloud Control

The Oracle WebLogic NodeManager is a new target type, NodeManager, in EM 13c.
Discovering a NodeManager secured with SSL results in Pending or Down status.

 

The following messages may also be encountered in the EM 13c interface:

Failed to connect to WebLogic Node Manager. Error occurred while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager. : Connection refused. Could not connect to NodeManager. Check that it is running at example.oracle.com/IP:port.'

OR

Failed to connect to WebLogic Node Manager. Error occurred while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager. : General SSLEngine problem

  

Or in <agent_inst>/sysman/log/emagent_perl.trc:

 

nmresponse.pl: 2017-05-02 16:48:21,348: ERROR: em_error= Error occured while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager. : General SSLEngine problem
