Symptoms

Installing the Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.2 Cloud Control Agent using the silent method (agentDeploy.sh script) fails with this message in the Agent deployment logs:

Starting Install Phase .....
<AGENT_SOFTWARE_LOC>/agentcore.bin -ignoreSysPrereqs -silent -responseFile <AGENT_BASE_DIR>/agentInstall.rsp
0%...................................................................................................100%
sh: /tmp/[]/oracle.jdk/jdk/bin/java: Permission denied
Agent installation failed.
Copying Install logs to <AGENT_BASE_DIR>/agent_13.2.0.0.0/cfgtoollogs/agentDeploy .....
/bin/cat: <AGENT_BASE_DIR>/agent_13.2.0.0.0/oraInst.loc: No such file or directory
ls: cannot access /logs: No such file or directory
Check logs at <AGENT_BASE_DIR>/agent_13.2.0.0.0/cfgtoollogs/agentDeploy .....

$AGENT_HOME/cfgtoollogs/agentDeploy/agentDeploy_<timestamp>.log file shows the error:

sh: /tmp/[]/oracle.jdk/jdk/bin/java: Permission denied
