EM 13c: Securing Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control AOM with Third Party Certificate Fails (Doc ID 2517427.1)

Symptoms

AOM is secured out-of-box with Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.2 Cloud Control signed certificates 
Securing AOM with a third party certificate does not give any output, but the operation fails in the back end
