Symptoms

From Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13c, when discover Exadata Database Machine,
Prerequisite Check fails with the following errors.

CRITICAL ERROR
EXM-0015: Discovery of engineered system machine type failed.
INTERNAL-EXM-0000: An unexpected condition occurred due to exception java.lang.NullPointerException.
