Goal

The "Add Space to Tablespace" is a new corrective action introduced in EM 13c to automatically increase the tablespace size for Database Instance and Pluggable Database targets. The corrective action will automatically increase the tablespace when it is near full by extending existing datafiles or creating new datafiles. The "Add Space to Tablespace" corrective action can be used on any of the Tablespaces Full metrics (Tablespace Space Used (%), Tablespace Free Space (MB) for Locally Managed, Dictionary Managed, Temp, and Undo tablespace).

The following document describes the behavior of the Add Space to Tablespace Corrective Action (CA) once a Tablespace Space Used (%) or Tablespace Free Space (MB) metric threshold is crossed.
