EM13c: Scan Listener Target not Moving to New Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control Agent after Relocation (Doc ID 2666998.1)

Symptoms


Relocating the scan listener from one node to another using the "srvctl relocate scan" command completes successfully.
The scan listener relocates to the other node, however Enterprise Manager (EM) 13c Cloud Control shows that the scan listener is down and it also shows old target information.

 

The following behavior is observed:

- Run srvctl command to view the current scan listener status

 

Additionally, from a properly working cluster, where the SCAN listener relocation succeeds, including the target status in EM 13c, the following are the directories:

$ ls -ltr <Agent Instance Base>/agent_inst/sysman/log/targets/oracle_listener
total 0
drwxr-----    2 <USER>   <GROUP>        256 Apr 23 23:40 LISTENER_
drwxr-----    2 <USER> <GROUP>        256 Apr 23 23:40 LISTENER_SCAN3_<cluster_name>
drwxr-----    2 <USER> <GROUP>        256 Apr 23 23:40 LISTENER_SCAN2_<cluster_name>

$ ls -ltr <Agent Instance Base>/agent_inst/sysman/log/targets/oracle_listener
total 0
drwxr-----    2 <USER> <GROUP>        256 Apr 24 10:01 LISTENER_
drwxr-----    2 <USER> <GROUP>        256 Apr 24 10:01 LISTENER_SCAN1_<cluster_name>

From a problematic cluster target, where the SCAN listener relocation succeeds, but the target status is incorrect after relocation, these are the directories:

$ ls -ltr <Agent Instance Base>/agent_inst/sysman/log/targets/oracle_listener
