Purpose

This document contains the procedure for cross-platform Enterprise Manager (EM) 13c Cloud Control OMS migration from Solaris to Linux Operating Systems

This document can be followed for migrating the OMS (primary OMS in case of multi OMS) cross-platform migration from Solaris to Linux operating systems

 2. Getting the list of patches and plugins on the Source OMS
 3. Copying EMKey to the repository DB
 4. Identify the ports used by the Source OMS
 5. Validating the Target OMS Host for Migration
 6. Installing EM Software Only on the target Host
 7. Install the Plugins on the Target OMS Host
 8. Apply the patch on the Target OMS Host

 9. Stop Source OMS

 11. Configure the Plugin on the Target OMS
 12. Start the OMS
 13. Configure BI Publisher
 Post Migration Steps
 14. Configure the Central Agent
 15. Refresh Weblogic Domain to reconfigure the domain with the new hostname
 16. Relocate source OMS agent targets to target OMS agent
 17. Relocate the oracle_emrep target to the Management Agent of the new OMS
 18. Repoint the agent to the new OMS
 19. Cleanup
