EM 13c: Metric Alert for a Metric Extension Won't Clear When Condition Clears (Doc ID 2851392.1)

Metric extension with a SQL adapter that populates a metric column of type string.

This ME generates an alert when this column has a critical value present.

This works fine however when the metric data clears and is no longer present the alert remains in critical status and won't clear.
