Symptoms

Enterprise Manager (EM) 13.4 Cloud Control

Adding middleware targets in EM results the following error:

Adding Targets - Failed.
Failed to discover WebLogic: java.rmi.UnmarshalException:-Problem-finding-error-class;-nested-exception-is:---java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:-Failed-to-load-class-weblogic.management.NoAccessRuntimeException. No targets discovered. Check host, port, credentials, and protocol and be sure the server is running. This UI cannot be used to discover WebLogic version 7.x to 8.x.


<AGENT_HOME>/sysman/logemagent_perl.trc reports this error:

Caused by: java.rmi.UnmarshalException: Problem finding error class; nested exception is:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Failed to load class weblogic.management.NoAccessRuntimeException

The domain is not SSL enabled.

No custom or 3rd party certificates are being used by the domain.

The ports and host name being used during discovery are correct.
