EM 13.4/13.5: How to Clone the OMS to Another Host? (Doc ID 2912115.1)

Purpose

This document is to provide end to end assistance in OMS cloning procedure

This document is written for OEM version 13.5. If you are on OEM version 13.4, specific instructions (if any) are included in blocks. Please read through every step carefully before taking any measures.

OMS Cloning comes handy in the following situations:
- Evaluating the existing system for upgrade/patching scenarios.
- To Replicate the server onto another host and repoint the agents in batches and not all in one go.
- When there is a need to move the OMS to another directory on the same host/different host.

Scope

This document is written for cloning OEM version 13.5. If you are on OEM version 13.4 or older, specific instructions (if any) are included in blocks.
