Symptoms
When performing an Enterprise Manager 13.5 RU8 Discovery Pre Check on a Siebel environment with 7 Siebel Windows Servers,
the following warnings occur and the Enterprise Manager Discovery fails without any targets.
Discovery Precheck Warnings:
Some of the PreCheck Steps Executed are showing WARNINGS. The Discovery will be successful but you should check the warnings first and try to resolve them if needed.
Server Check: Checks if the Siebel Servers have EM Agent installed. ^! warning
Host Check: Checks if the hosts for different servers exist in EM repository ^! warning
Precheck Detailed Logs - Debug Message:

2. Install Enterprise Manager 13.5 RU8 OMS on Windows Servers
3. Install Enterprise Manager 13.5 RU8 Agent for Siebel on Windows Server
4. Perform an Enterprise Manager Pre Check for the Siebel Servers - select [Add]
5. Fill out the Add Siebel Enterprise Form - select [Discovery Precheck]
6. Discovery PreCheck - Completed Successfully - select [Close]
7. Observe the Precheck Result Message Warnings - select [Show Details]
8. Observe the Precheck Detailed Logs - Debug Message Warnings
9. Select [Proceed to Discovery]
10. Observe there are not targets discovered.
Changes
A search and replace was performed within the siebelserverconfig.xml while editing the xml document.
